The holiday season has begun- with Black Friday just around the corner. Many of you will even be shopping on Thanksgiving day! (you are brave- I avoid the malls altogether from November to January!) Yet with all the shopping and hustle and bustle, you might want to take a moment and ask your kids/family what it is they really want this coming year. I found this dramatic video that might make you think twice. Children are asked to write a list to Santa and one to their parents. The list to Santa is pretty standard- lots of toys. But the list to the parents is focused on spending TIME with them. The reaction of the parents is heartfelt and thoughtful.
Please remember that the holiday season is not about the ‘stuff’- chances are you have plenty of that to organize and clean out already. Take time to spend time with your family and friend
